My journey with Bloomer studio began in 2003 as an apprentice designer, and continued to grow into an ornament commission for Bloomer Studio @ The Bridge campus in Shanghai for which I was a principal actor in collaboration with Bloomer Studio in a two year process from project ideation to design to realization. My work as a Dragon consultant grew into an unrealized commission for the city of San Francisco, to integrate the Dragon into a modernist facade in Chinatown, SF. Today, in 2026, my Dragon consulting and ornament activation work continues through my ongoing research on Chinese ornament and oracle bones, and the integration and expression of Kent Bloomer’s legacy at The Bridge School and beyond.
